Wait till it's turned a wheel before jumping to conclusions. You may well be plesantly surprised. So many people think that you must have 4wd to handle well, but that's not the case any more. And if there's one manufacturer who knows how to make a fwd handle it's Ford.

As per Dan - The suspension design seems pretty special for FWD and as with the previous FRS, that was better around a track than anyone outside of Ford would have credited.... I think it may turn out to be a weapon.
It will also (ECU allowing) be a good base for upgrading with a bigger turbo, and other revisions as std over the ST, so it's not just a remapped ST.

fwd doesnt drift or powerslide though. shame as they could have made an ok car. Not my cuppa, but i like like colour. Its a modern version of the Le mans green they used on mk1 escorts.
underestimate them if you dare very quick cars

I abso fuckin lutely love it, I WILL definately have one when the price of them matches up with the value of my Escos plus a few grand LOL.

Good pics - i must admit i do like the new RS very much. Not sure about the green colour but everything else does it for me, especially those seats.

New cams, inlet, pistons, rods, turbo, only thing in-common with the ST is the block!
They made a 4-wheel drive mule and it was slower and heavier!
The guy with the beard on stage is one of the senior TEAM RS engineers from Germany who owns a 380 Bhp EsCos and Jos told him in front of everybody, that he was not allowed to talk about any other forthcoming RS cars!

All the cars there apart from Garys-ex-S1 belong to the Ford Heritage Museum at dagenham and thats where the launch was!

old skool is the way forward they just dont make them like they used to
i think a focus rs just doesnt have the rs breed in it for example if you see an rs2000,rs1600 or s1 rst or coworth driving along the road then necks start breaking see a focus and it just the same as the other normal cars on the road not meaning to be nasty but ford fkd up when they stopped making these wonderfull cars
its like the evos aswell the 5 and 6 were the smartest then they went pete tony wrong also like the impreza the classic shape is the best shape
